I’m Enric Arimany, a photographer and filmmaker based in New York & Washington DC.

I’ve been behind the camera for more than 25 years. I started in television in 1999 and spent many years working for Spain’s leading broadcasters. Today, from the United States, I work as an independent director of photography, and one of the features I shot won at the New York Sports Emmy® Awards.

I have worked on documentaries, television features, advertising and editorial photography, for broadcasters, publishers and brands on both sides of the Atlantic.

My personal photography is born at night. In television every shot has to be under control. With my own camera I look for the opposite: the light that remains when the city switches off, the landscape when the noise fades, the moment that won’t happen again.
